It is above all a question of putting people back at the center of the reflection in the same way as more rational or quantitative elements. How to sustainably transform operating methods, how to embark teams towards a target without taking into account the culture of the company, the individual or collective contexts...? How to keep our consultants happy as our business grows ? There too, it is a question of taking a side step before moving forward.
If there are several ways to do consulting, Kea's suits me particularly well.

To make consulting your profession is to accept change and, consequently, the unexpected.
Why I chose the consultancy profession:
At a crossroads, at the end of their academic career, I encourage everyone to take a step aside by taking the time to question their convictions and determine their true motivations. Even if it seems obvious, we are still too many to ignore it, to dig our furrow headlong at the risk of waking up too late.
After a year in marketing at L'Oréal and Unilever, I had a good first vision of the business world and of this profession. This experience rich in learning and pleasure pushed me quite naturally to continue on this path, but today I am certain that I would have taken the wrong road.
It is taking this step aside for several months punctuated by readings, exchanges and reflections that allowed me to avoid this pitfall. Naturally (very) curious, I fundamentally needed to go beyond marketing, to discover other professions, other sectors and other cultures, and this need would have expressed itself sooner or later... The council then seemed to me to meet all these expectations. : so I changed my route !
More than 3 years later, I'm glad I made that decision : consulting is an exciting profession, intellectually stimulating and which satisfies my curiosity. Every day I feel like I'm learning something, whether it's knowledge of the sectors (I've already told you about funeral directors ?), on trades (what exactly is a buyer ?), or on the arts and techniques of consulting (how to analyze and solve such a problem, improve my impact orally and in writing (…)?).
The unexpected can destabilize and requires being adaptable : starting from scratch on a subject, proving yourself again in front of a client and a manager, reviewing your personal schedule, managing your travels... But above all, I see it as an exhilarating environment, a source of fulfillment with each mission : different management, new experienced interlocutors, discovery of subjects, sectors, location/areas of intervention...
Why I will never do this job anywhere other than at Kea:
Like its prestigious competitors with names well known to students, Kea is a general management consulting firm, responding to strategy and management issues ; however, I chose to come to Kea rather than elsewhere.
If you are interested in consulting, if you want to develop professionally in a demanding environment while maintaining a balance in life, if you want to be more than just a number among others, if you seek to be in contact with the client very early on and to have an impact, all in a growing firm, with a strong identity and where life is good… well… you know which way to go.
